AW. SACRED BOOK “HORROR VASTITATIS”

Bajo el tìtulo “HORROR VASTITATIS” (miedo a la soledad) se inicia el “libro sagrado” de la Señora, que mostrarà todos sus “hechos” anteriormente presentados en forma de obras de Arte. La primera entrega de estos “hechos” se realiza sobre la revista IMPUT de New York, narrando cuatro de las primeras instalaciones con las que se difundiò su mensaje.
Las ilustraciones estàn realizadas con varios trozos de diferentes làminas de la Biblia de Gustavo Dorè, hacièndolas coincidir con cada uno de los “hechos” de la Señora y con dibujos añadidos mimetizados con el estilo del famoso grabador. Estos dibujos representan elementos referenciales de cada acciòn (el templete en Londres, las pancartas en HK, el cartel del Musac y la escalera con los altavoces de Leòn), dando la sensaciòn, a primera vista, de ser los grabados bìblicos clàsicos.
Este trabajo forma parte del proyecto ANONYMOUS WOMAN, en el que desde el año 2008 Josechu Dàvila ha difundido, por medio de obras de arte, el mensaje que una mujer anònima (nunca dijo su nombre) espetaba a diario desde su ventana para recriminar e iluminar al mundo.
Under the title "HORROR VASTITATIS" (fear of loneliness) begins the Lady's "sacred book", which will show all her "facts" previously presented in the form of works of art. The first delivery of these "facts" takes place on the IMPUT magazine of New York, narrating four of the first installations with which her message was spread.
The illustrations are made with several pieces of different sheets of Gustavo Dorè's Bible, making them coincide with each of the "facts" of the Lady and with added drawings mimicking the style of the famous engraver. These drawings represent referential elements of each action (the pavilion in London, the banners in HK, the Musac poster and the staircase with the loudspeakers in Leon), giving the impression, at first sight, of being the classic biblical engravings.
This work is part of the project ANONYMOUS WOMAN, in which since 2008 Josechu Dàvila has spread, through works of art, the message that an anonymous woman (she never said her name) shouted every day from her window to reproach and enlighten the world.
